The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
This painting shows a scene from Girdwood Valley across Moose Meadows in the summer. I also painted this scene in the early fall. Cross country skiiers love this area in the winter. In the summer you can often see hang gliders landing in this meadow among the many wildflowers.
About Sharon Freeman
Sharon was a member of the Northwest Watercolor Society and a juried member of the Southwest Washington Watercolor Society. Her watercolors have won awards in National and local competitions. Sharon�s paintings hang in public buildings in Washington State as well as hotels in Alaska. An article featuring Sharon�s watercolor techniques was published in the Artists� Magazine, October 2000 issue. I look for unique patterns within small areas of nature and try to emphasize them.
